Equipment Rental Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all equipment rented from us, including electric bikes, SUP boards, sliding snowshoes, snowshoe packages, ice skates, and other outdoor gear. By renting, you agree to these terms – please read them carefully.
1. Use of Equipment and Responsibility
- The renter agrees to use the equipment carefully and only for its intended purpose.
- The equipment may not be transferred to a third party without the rental provider's permission.
- The renter is responsible for the equipment throughout the rental period, including during transport and storage.
- The renter agrees to lock the equipment or store it in a locked space.
- The renter is liable for any damage, loss, or misuse of the equipment and will be charged for any resulting costs.
2. Safety
- The renter is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is used safely, within their skill level and considering the conditions.
- Electric bikes and other road-legal equipment must be used in compliance with traffic regulations.
- The renter agrees to wear a helmet and other required safety gear at all times.
3. Equipment Condition and Return
- All equipment is handed over inspected and ready for use.
- The renter must check the equipment at pick-up and report any issues before use.
- The equipment must be returned at the agreed time and in the same condition as received.
- If the equipment is returned late, a fee will be charged according to the current price list.
4. Cancellations and Changes
- You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the rental period begins.
5. Weather Conditions
- We are not responsible for weather conditions and do not offer refunds due to weather changes.
6. Lost or Damaged Equipment
- For lost or irreparably damaged equipment, compensation will be charged based on replacement value or repair costs.
- The renter is responsible for locking, maintaining, and protecting the equipment.
- The renter is also liable for any damage, missing parts, or accessories due to carelessness.
7. Transport Service
- If rental includes transport, the time and location of delivery will be agreed in advance.
- The renter is responsible for the equipment from the moment it is delivered to the agreed location, even if they are not present to receive it.
- Any delays or issues with transport will be handled in cooperation, but we are not responsible for conditions beyond our control (e.g. traffic or weather).
8. Insurance
- The rental does not include personal insurance for the renter.
- We recommend having travel insurance that covers rented equipment in case of damage.
9. Rental Provider's Rights
- The rental provider has the right to cancel a reservation or deny rental if the conditions, renter's condition, or behavior justify it.
- We reserve the right to change terms or prices without prior notice. The current terms are always available on our website.
